DESCRIPTION:
National Ugly Truck Day celebrates the four wheeled beasts that only an owner could love. This is often a popular event for radio stations and car dealers, which will have contests to determine the ugliest truck.
This is a day set aside to have fun. The first Ugly Truck Contest appears to have occurred in 1989 at the behest of the pop group Duran Duran. It has since been a regular fixture on event calendars and is currently championed by Jason Lancaster.
